Episode 113 of B.Boomer Unleashed, "Just Good News - (Journal Entry #11)" is part one of a two-part interview with Necia Thompson, Director of the Backpack and Brown Bag Outreach Ministry of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. What started out as a phone call from her former Bible Teacher, Mr. Smith, has turned into an outreach with a tremendous impact in the Huntington West Virginia Area. From backpacks of food for hungry children, to brown bag meals for outcast prostitutes on the streets of Huntington, God has used Necia and her army of volunteers to make an impact in our community. Next week, we will publish Part 2 of our interview with Necia as she tells us how the ministry has expanded, shares some success stories, and informs us how we can help.
